Travel Advisory: CORONAVIRUS COVID-19
As icons of the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana, the Steamboat NATCHEZ and Gray Line Tours have endured both natural and manmade disasters….and we will surely endure this one. Our hearts go out to all of those affected by this on-going pandemic, including our first responders and health care workers on the front lines in our communities.
In these unprecedented and challenging times, we all must do what we can to support the country’s efforts in the fight against COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of our guests and team members is, and has been, our number one priority during this most difficult time. In order to help to slow the community spread of COVID-19, and in accordance with current local and state regulations for “social distancing”, we have continued to suspend all operations and postponed all cruise and tour offerings, and will continue to do so until advised otherwise. We will closely monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s (WHO) statements regarding COVID-19 cases and follow guidelines from these agencies and local health departments.
We do understand how disappointing this is for our guests that had an experience booked with us, and we appreciate everyone’s continued patience until we can resume operations.

We are committed to ensuring our guests are confident in making future bookings by providing you maximum flexibility during these challenging times.
We are making the following temporary changes to our rebooking and cancellation policy at this time:
*For guests with existing bookings, if your cruise is cancelled because of public health authorities’ decisions, we have waived change fees and will be happy to reschedule your cruise for a future travel date.
*If you are unable to join us for your experience due to an illness or because of travel to a restricted area (CDC Warning Level 3 region), we will apply the deposit you have made toward any future experiences offered into 2022.
Our commitment to your well-being:
The New Orleans Steamboat Company and Gray Line Tours have an excellent safety and sanitation track record and have always operated and maintained a rigorous process around cleanliness and hygiene. Our teams are working to ensure that we continue to meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning protocols.
Specific steps we are taking include proper and frequent hand washing, thorough disinfection of food preparation surfaces before and after service, alongside regular sanitization of our vessels and vehicles before and after service. In addition to these measures, we have increased the frequency and focus of our cleaning procedures, with focus on high-touch areas like handrails, doorknobs, and other surfaces. Our staff will abide by the CDC recommendations for health care initiatives.
